Interview With Anthony Halli

Great Job in week 10, Anthony! You put up a great score of 282.4, to win the week10 Championship and Five Thousand Dollars! Nice week! Did you have a philosophy when you chose your team?

As always with fantasy football, matchups are so important to look at when selecting players. I tried to look at the matchups first, and then look for players that I thought were undervalued. I selected those players first and then built my team around them.

Did you emphasize any positions?

Yes I did. I looked at RB's first then WR's because that is where your points are going to come from.

What were some of the key players you picked at higher salaries that you felt confident would be worth their price tag?

I choose LT and Smith as my two players I had to have with big salaries. Lt has just been on such a tear and I felt I had to choose him, and I loved Smith Monday night coming off a bye and he always plays well against Tampa Bay.

What sleepers did you throw in and why?

I choose Tony Romo and Colston (if you can consider Colston a sleeper) based on matchups and salaries. I felt Romo was a good pick against Arizona and although I am a Steelers fan, we haven't been too good against the pass this year. With Horn out, I felt Colston was going to go off against the Black and Gold.

Were you happy with their performance?

I was very happy. Colston was a stud and Romo did what I expected, 300 yards and he hooked up with Owens once.

How many times did you change your lineup over the weekend before you decided on the winning lineup?

I never changed it. I picked this team on Tuesday and never changed it.

That Monday night game must have been a roller coaster of emotion. Steve Smith pulled it out for you. Did you feel confident going in?

I felt confident I would win second place, first was a bit of a stretch. I was down a little over 10 points and the team in first had Foster and Kasay, so I knew it would take a huge game from Smith to slide into first.

What do you think of the "weekly contest" concept?

I love it!!! It gives you a chance to win every week and never loose focus with your team. If you are in a seasonal league and you start 0-5, you begin to not care so much. The weekly chance of winning is awesome.

How did you hear about BIG DADDY'S FANTASY SPORTS?

My friend (Swamp Chickens) had been telling me about it for weeks. I finally decided to give it a shot, and boy am I glad I did. He took fifth place last week, and I thought if he can do it, I knew I could. (just joking Jimmy!!!!!)

Will you be playing again and how confident are you that you could win another championship?

I am hooked now. I will play every week. How confident am I, well I'm sure there are a lot of talented fantasy players here and I will need a little luck to do this again. But that is why we play the game!!!!!!!
